Grasstrack Racing

The Swindon Grasstrack Club have announced an exciting series of summer races.

 

Taking place at Grangewood Farm, Dauntsey, four race meetings this year will take place on:

 

2nd May

13th June

11th July

12th September

 

The first meeting will include several local riders, an ex-speedway rider as well as riders from all over the country.

 

Thrills and spills: Swindon Grasstrack

 

One of the oldest forms of motorcycle racing, grasstrack takes place on a open flat track with two straights and two bends. Generally similar to speedway with 4 laps from a standing start. Unlike speedway there are up to 12 riders competing individually to make some exciting racing.
